Doors: I

Let's be honest, if you've ever seen my travel photos, you knew these were coming. Door goodness has so far been hard to come by, but I am hopeful.

The Sights and Sites of Washington

Today I feel as though we literally walked Washington. On a perfectly crisp but sunny day, we explored a city which feels halfway between New York and Paris - wide boulevards, cool air and big, impressive monuments which echo Roman temples. Here are some of the favourite picks.
World War II Memorial.

Um, a big house in Washington. I think an important person is going to live here soon, but for now some country hick is renting it out...

A Rude Duck

I tried so hard to get a picture of this duck's shiny, green head, but all I got what this. I think it was showing off, because it literally didn't stop diving when we approached it.

So imagine a pretty, green head - it was nice for what we saw of it.

Row Houses, Foggy Botton, DC

Pretty little houses all in a row. How I love thee, small coloured houses.

In case you can't tell, I adore these Victorian houses. I can't stop taking photos of them everywhere!
